The Käthe Kruse Slim Grandchild was originally an anniversary doll for the 40th anniversary of the company in 1952. The slim bodies were difficult to stuff; so, the dolls were discontinued after a few years. Only a very few were made with side-glancing eyes.
Our Vera has a fresh, modern interpretation of a 1950s dress, with a full skirt and a crinoline peeking out underneath. Her side glancing eyes are painted by hand and her body is hand stuffed. She has a hand knotted human hair wig. Made in Germany
