Krahmer Puppen- "Kuck in Die Welt"
For over sixty years Krahmer Puppen have been appreciated by you and old alike. For many years, nearly the only doll of quality available in East Germany, the dolls were treasure by their owners. Today the dolls are available world wide, but are still made of the finest natural materials. Every single head is carved by hand and then the faces are carefully hand painted. Each doll has its own unique personality. Their clothing is made from fine natural materials often incorporating "Blaudruck" (block printed wax resist printed fabrics dyed indigo blue) and traditional woven linens. The dolls are made in very limited numbers world wide. Many editions limited to 50 pieces. Most of the dolls have disk jointed hips, allowing them to stand 13.5" high. However, some dolls have floppy legs and are more economically priced.
